CUT RUM - BRIGHTON COCKTAIL WEEK

The guys were down at Brighton Cocktail Fair on Saturday sampling some Tasty CUT RUM with the lovely people of one of ur favourite seaside towns.

Brightons first taste of CUT RUM went down a storm - loads of happy faces and empty shot glasses! CUT SMOKED RUM seemed to be the liquid of choice but our SUGAR MAMA cocktail made with CUT SPICED RUM we batched before the event was the one everyone was raving about. We teamed up with the Licor 43 guys to create a one off TWISTER cocktail mixing some of our smooth as **** CUT OVERPROOF RUM with a bit of LICOR 43, lime juice, sugar syrup and a touch of CAMPARI. This thing is a liquid version of your favourite Ice ream lolly…with a kick of tasty OVERPROOF RUM. - RECIPE BELOW

10ML CAMPARI

SHAKE ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT CAMPARI - DOUBLE STRAIN INTO ROCKS GLASS WITH FRESH ICE - GARNISH WITH LIME WEDGE AND FLOAT CAMPARI ON TOP

LAST WEEK WE TEAMED UP WITH DAVE MOTHERSHILL OF COAL SHED TOWER BRIDGE TO CREATE A NIGHT OF QUALITY FOOD BALANCED OUT WITH SOME OF CUT RUMS FINEST COCKTAILS. THE NIGHT WAS GREAT AND A PERFECT ADDITION TO THE CUT RUM UK LAUNCH THIS MONTH

WE HAD 4 AMAZINGLY PREPARED COCKTAILS BY ALBERTO - BAR MANAGER AT COAL SHED - AND DAVE CREATED 5 GLORIOUS DISHES TO PAIR THEM WITH. 

Salmon, lime, jalapeno and thinly sliced radish with our sour and fruity sugar mama - - - breaded short rib with pickled onion and shitake and a onion sauce paired with a straight glass of cut spiced rum - - - smoked duck and coffee roasted chicory with a rhubarb puree paired with a glass of our cut smoked rum and our smoke storm cocktail - - - AMALFI LEMON BOMBS PAIRED WITH OUR AMAZING OVERPROOF DAIQUIRI - - - AND LASTLY AN AMAZING DESERT OF CHOCOLATE GARNACHE, BANANA PARFAIT, ROASTED BANANA, SALTED CARAMEL ICE CREAM AND SESAME SEED TUILE SERVED WITH OUR VERY WELL SUITED SMOKE N GRIND
